I’m 5 for 5 in my #31daychallenge
I struggled this morning but eventually dragged my bum out of bed and went for a 30 min run (about a 2 mile loop – with some walking thrown in just cause)
Last night I had a meeting in Columbia so while I was home at my usual time, I realized that it had been 9 hours since I had last eaten. Having your lunch at 11, rushing out at 5, and not getting home til 7:45p means forgetting to snack.
So I fixed up a quick salad with a Trader Joe’s Crab Cake on top (my FAVORITE) vegged and then did a quick 20 minutes on the treadmill – alternating walking at a 5.5 incline and then running 6.0 at a .5 incline for 20 minutes while I waited for hubs to call.
Then! This morning i got up and went for a 30 minute run/walk around the neighborhood to just get moving.
It felt really good to be out. However, I didn’t bring my garmin nor did I bring music. The peace and quiet was kind of nice and it wasn’t super frigid as it has been. I do NEED to find my Garmin however – it seems to be MIA and that does not please me.
All in all, morning workouts for the win!

Finally, on a different note, you all are amazing. The support I’ve gotten from everyone this week with my goal posting and the strides I’ve taken has been awesome. I am so inspired by the faith that so many people have in me (which hasn’t always been the case in my life) – between you all, my pals off the blogosphere and the husband (especially the husband) I am so…energized and motivated and driven to really accomplish my goals this year. So thank you for reading and supporting and being amazing 🙂
