So I’m 15% done with my 100 mile goal AND I’m a week into the 30 day plank a day challenge and I haven’t missed a day. BALLER.
This past week…
Monday I hung out with my sick bebe. He had an ear infection and a touch of a sinus infection.
Tuesday I strided with my stroller striders and ran the 2 miles down to the stadium – total 3.4 miles
Thursday Run + Stroller Strides – I was pretty pleased with my run down to the stadium – ~2 miles in less than 20 minutes! Granted it’s downhill but I keep reminding myself that to get faster I need to run faster and be a bit uncomfortable when I’m running. Running with the stroller is uncomfortable in general but pushing myself a little harder to run just a little bit faster helps and I can feel it helping especially when I run on my own.
Friday checked out my first class at Pure Barre Annapolis after our afternoon in DC – stay tuned for a FitMama review!!
Saturday we had a busy day but the day started with swim lessons, included a birthday party and a football game. We were all exhausted by the end of the day.
Sunday The JLA 5k – we finished in about ~37 minutes. Exact time still TBA. Certainly not my fastest course but it wasn’t nearly as flat as the Ripley 5k last weekend.

Not the direction I want to be going in, but after an entirely too gluttonous weekend of football, birthday parties and beer (oh my!) it’s not surprising. Here’s hoping I get my butt moving and start eating lots better in comparison to the past week or so.
I suppose less impromptu Friday night tastings with my best gal pal would help my goal also.
