Now that I work from home I don’t have much of a need for a fancy schmancy wardrobe. While I don’t bum it up, I do find myself most comfortable in leggings and tunic sweaters most days but that’s because it’s been cold as EFF. Lately, since Marie Kondo-ing our closet, I found that I have a few pieces that I LOVE, and those are the ones that have been on CONSTANT rotation. Here are my go-tos:
On Rotation Lately…
Distressed Jeggings – these jeggings from Old Navy are ON POINT. They’re super comfortable, and trendy. I’m a HUGE fan. Pretty much all my jeans are Old Navy (their Rockstar skinnies are great quality for the price point)
Gibson tunic convertible sweater – This sweater is such a go to for me. It can become a pretty off the shoulder sweater, OR just a comfortable cowl neck. I have two in grey and green and it’s really one of my favorite.
JCrew Tippi Sweater – These are a go-to for me. Dress them up with jeans and boots and a fancy necklace or throw it on with a layering tank (i like this from Lululemon but the ones i have are like 7-8 years old.) and leggings to kick around on the weekend.
Cozy Knotted Front Sweater – I can dress up any of these based on the bottoms or top and the shoes that I sport. I just ordered the burgundy one recently and i can’t wait for it to arrive. Stay tuned for a post on this sweater remixed.
Striped Long Sleeve – I never appreciated the striped long sleeve and it took me a long time to find one that was comfy. I like this one from Nordstrom which is on constant rotation but sold out, this one is another cult favorite though.
Pleather Leggings – I usually dress these up but the other day I grabbed lunch with a pal and wore them after seeing this outfit from Tara at Styled to a T. I’m sold now. Stay tuned for my weekend, office and dressed up looks with these pants.
Of course being…focused on my wardrobe means that I sometimes struggle when it comes to dressing up. But that’s another post for another day.
