Foodie Friday is back…(ish)
So it’s not really a recipe as Foodie Friday should be. But it is a great glass of wine, a great quick meal thanks to Trader Joe’s and an amazing end to a slightly stressful week. Sometimes you just need to chill. I’ll finish that bottle of my favorite wine tomorrow night 😉
Bought my return trip from San Antonio in February. I’ll be going out again in April for his graduation – they fooled us on his time line first they said 14 weeks, then it was 16 weeks then it was 19 weeks – now it’s about 16 so he’s slated to graduate the last week of April which is an awesome belated birthday gift for me.
Continues! I did a 20 minute yoga workout thanks to YogaDownload which is such an amazing resource – they have a lot of amazing paid courses that I’ve read great things about but I love the free 20-25 minute courses which for me, work just as well if not better since generally, if I’m practicing at home, I’m short on time. All in all my workouts for this week:
Tues: 20 min elliptical/20 mins strength
Wed: 20 min walk/run (walking 4.0 @ 5.5 incline/running 6.0 @ .5)
Thurs: 30 min walk/run (2 mi)
Fri: 20 min yoga podcast
Gotta keep the momentum going! Found my garmin so I’m looking forward to getting a run in tomorrow that’s a bit longer – like 4-5 miles after my JLA meeting in the AM.
In other (much more somber) news…
Found out tonight one of my favorite professors from college passed away earlier this week/last week. RIP Professor Wallin – he was an inspiration to the Northeastern community particularly the Political Science department. His wisdom and humor will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to his family. So very very sad.
