Up until a few weeks ago, my faux leather leggings were more of a MNO type of piece. They had more time in my drawer than not, even though I picked them up nearly a year ago at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
But lately, a few bloggers and pins that I saw have inspired me to break them out for more every day wear. I mean, they’re leggings so they still fit my work-from-home wardrobe perfectly AMIRITE?

Here are three looks that I’ve been sporting reguarly – an outfit for MNO or date night, casual friday in the office (you know, for the days when you’re not feeling regular pants) and of course, for every day (I wore this for lunch with a friend on a saturday).
FOR WEEKDAY WEAR

I can’t take credit for this adorable, and perfectly casual outfit. That goes to Ja’Net / Tara (two of my style crushes, tbh.)/. Initially I wore it with sneaks but I switched the shoes from sneakers to my fuzzy mules (it was a warmish day before the snow came) for a fun lunch date with a friend and it’s an outfit that’s been in regular rotation ever since.

For Casual Friday or Happy Hour
For those days when you want to dress up your leggings or not wear regular pants, this outfit is on point. This convertible tunic is long enough to cover up your bum (necessary with leggings), and if you’re really “frisky” you can make it off the shoulder. I’ve seen this sweater layerd with a white button down (which i haven’t tried) that looked real cute but if you work in a place that’s casual enough where leggings like this can be dressed up, this is a fun one to wear.

For Date Night

So our datenight this past weekend was technically a staff holiday party but oh man. We had so much fun. My Fit4Mom fellow coaches are just…awesome and so fun to hang out with. Needless to say, i wore a similar outfit a few weeks ago for a MNO for my running buddies/tribe/family. I should also note that I LOVE these leopard flats that a. have seen a lot of love (just realized how much they look like complete garbage) but b. they just add a little OOMPH to any outfit 🙂 It’s like a touch of bold with in a sea of blacks, greys, and tans which is my wardrobe essentially hahaha.

DATE NIGHT BONUS OUTFIT

Back in November the PTA had a fundraiser that hubs and I went to – it was an okay night, but I sported these pants, a flowy blouse and heels. It was 80’s themed but I didn’t want to go all out because that’s not my style. But this outfit totally was on point. This top comes in a number of colors – I have it in white, red and green – the colors now are a little more springy but that’s okay 🙂 Who else is wishing for warmer weather…asap??
