Recently, I’ve fallen back in love with Ann Taylor Loft. I don’t know why I discredited it – their petite section is on point. I think I just wasn’t in love with what they were putting out. I snagged a lovely camel colored cardigan that I lived in this past winter, but then a couple weeks ago, after seeing this one shirt make the rounds on various blogs, I went in with Little Man after a mommy/son date (i know shopping really only benefits me but he gets chick-fil-a nuggets out of the deal so I consider it win/win) and knew this top was a winner.
Silky shirts sometimes just don’t work on me. Often I feel like they just fall shapeless (which may be the point? I don’t know. I’m sometimes style-stupid) and just don’t like right on me but this one? Was right on. It’s super comfortable and super light weight – a perfect transition top. Thanks for the inspiration Fran!
Also this weekend I picked up this skirt, this sweater (a new move from my usual crew neck cardigans) and a new pair of sandals from Target. With birthday weekend this weekend, I’m making my wish list to be posted this week. I struggled the other day to get dressed for work when I realized it’s officially transition weather, time to bust out the summer wardrobe I suppose?
