How are we already in August??? Seriously? Where has time gone?!
snacking (on) | All of the body back snacks. My favorites? Apple slices and peanut butter (i’m a big fan of the Mott’s pre-sliced organic apples because there is nothing I loathe more than slicing apples). Kudos to me for sticking to my strawberry/cream cheese and toast afternoon snack the other day instead of indulging in left over office cake.
anticipating | “Vacation.” I’ve said repeatedly that going to Connecticut to see family isn’t always a vacation for me – vacation this year was our Disney trip and it was delightful. But since our budget is tight and we couldn’t pull off our Delaware beach weekend for Labor Day, we’re considering a weekend up north and making a day trip to Naragasett in Rhode Island, and obviously tracking down all the fun things with little man because there are many fantastic parks up there.
borrowing | so many library books. My digital hold list is maxed out and I’m plowing through books faster than a dump truck in a snow storm. Recently finished Small Admissions, currently reading The Light We Lost and Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty (because I love a good Lianne Moriarty book! I started this when I was waiting for some books to come up from my hold list), next up: Every Wild Heart by Meg Donohue.
admiring | All of my fellow Body Back mamas. Seriously, these women kick some serious butt. This program is no joke and these mamas are driven, motivating and just fantastic to spend two hours a week with. I’m in some serious admiration of these fantastic women.
purchasing | a new curling iron. After my stylist curled my hair so fantastically, I’m really trying to learn how to do that ish on my own…so I’m on the prowl. We’ll disregard my fun finds from the Nordstrom sale 😉
